EHTZ Team Contributes Article to Danish Globalnyt Newspaper

Lisa Ann Richey and Alexander Maxelon from the EHTZ team collaborated with Nauja Kleist from the Danish Institute for International Studies (DIIS) to write an article titled “Det humanitære system har brug for en gentænkning – nu og på lang sigt” [The humanitarian system needs a rethink - now and in the long term] for the Danish newspaper Globalnyt. Based on insights from a recent DIIS seminar, the piece sheds light on critical challenges confronting humanitarian efforts, addressing issues such as underfunding, inefficiency, and the evolving landscape of humanitarian actors. Offering forward-thinking proposals for reform, the article sparks discussions on reshaping humanitarian practices for a more effective and sustainable future.
