We are excited to announce the launch of the Everyday Humanitarianism in Tanzania (EHTZ) podcast!

How do ordinary people respond to crises, support their communities, and practice everyday humanitarianism? This new podcast series explores humanitarian action in Tanzania beyond traditional aid organizations, sharing insights from fieldwork, research collaborations, and practitioner experiences.

Hosted by Alexander Maxelon, Research Assistant at EHTZ, the podcast brings together researchers, policymakers, and community members to discuss key themes from our project. Through expert interviews and personal reflections, the series offers a unique look at topics such as refugee support, disaster response, elite giving, and the future of humanitarian research.

New episodes will be released every two weeks. Whether you are a student preparing for fieldwork, an early-career researcher, or a practitioner interested in crisis response, this podcast offers fresh perspectives on how humanitarianism unfolds in everyday life.

The trailer is available now on Spotify and Apple Podcasts, and the first episode is coming soon!
